Located in Shimane Prefecture, Li Bai Brewery was founded in 1882, and some of the rice used for brewing is from Shimane. The highest grade Daiginjo is brewed with Yamada Nishiki, the king of rice. Borrowing the name of a Chinese poet, Li Bai's packaging and naming are full of poetry, such as this moonlight sake, which is pungent and mellow, evoking the lonely and self-appreciative feeling of being alone without one's relatives under the moon. Incidentally, Li Bai is famous not only because it was appreciated by Reijiro Wakatsuki, who later became the Prime Minister in the Taisho era, but also because Li Bai has been promoting sake culture to the world since the 1980s, and was one of the first high-quality sake to be exported on a large scale.

This "Li Bai Moonlight Sake Daiginjo" is brewed at a low temperature and long fermentation time, and is sweet and smooth with a light white flower aroma.
