DS Tayman is the product of many years’ knowledge, thought and development. With nearly two decades in the alcohol industry, Director of Malts Danny Saltman was keen to bring something new to the market. Driven to develop an exceptional collection of whiskies, Danny has travelled the length of Scotland to match choice Scotch Whiskies with hand-chosen casks.

As DS Tayman only bottles malt whisky aged in single casks, you can be assured that each limited-edition expression has a unique taste profile that cannot be recreated.

Caol Ila distillery, owned by Diageo and found on the Hebridean island of Islay in Scotland is well regarded for its smoky, coastal and bright style.

The DS Tayman series 4 Caol Ila 12 year old single malt whisky was distilled in June 2010 on the island of Islay at the Caol Ila distillery, before being placed in a single refill oak barrel and left to mature for much of it's 12 year maturation period, with a Finish in a single ex-red wine Syrah cask sourced from the Israeli Tulip winery. In June 2022 it was bottled at 46% ABV as part of the 4th Edition releases from DS Tayman. Only 320 bottles were produced.

Nose: "Charred oak and a pinch of saltiness.  Lovely balance with green gauges in the background."

Palate: "Rounded and soft with delicious pomegranate.  Well-integrated peat smoke and toasted oak."

Finish: "Just like the end of a meaty grill with sea salt on the lips and extended malty fruity sweetness."

This release from DS Tayman is certified Kosher.

SHIPPING & HANDLING

Handling times are 2 business days.

Delivery times are between 5-10 business days depending on your state. Due to the ongoing restrictions being placed in different states, delivery time frames can be affected and your patience in these cases would be appreciated.

Note that a signature is required to receive the parcel to all residential addresses and identification must be presented to receive the parcel to ensure the receiver is over the legal age.

We may not always be able to change delivery details depending on which stage the order processing is up to, but we will do our best to accommodate your request. Once the order has been sent, we will be unable to change anymore.

RETURN POLICY

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn, unused, unopened, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at contact@sessionsarden.com.au. If it's returned because of a change of mind, you will be liable to pay for the return postage costs. When the item returns back to our store, we will then issue a full refund. If you require us to organize the pickup, we will refund the full amount less the return postage cost.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
