2019 Promis comprises 55% Merlot, 35% Syrah, 10% Sangiovese.

The grapes are grown in the terre brune (rich, dark soils) of Bolgheri and in the neighbouring area of Bibbona. Aged in slightly used barriques for 12 months followed by several months of bottle aging.

The 2019 Promis shows a complex character and undeniable elegance. The nose is rich and concentrate, with blueberry, licorice and cocoa hints. It starts fresh and then develops balsamic notes and scents of graphite. Then, it turns into a more mellow character with rhubarb and a menthol note. The palate is voluminous with fine-grained and silky tannins.

Promis represents the combination of grapes from Gaja’s two Tuscan estates â€?Merlot and Syrah from Ca’Marcanda and Sangiovese from Pieve Santa Restituta. The three varieties are fermented separately and then blended in January or February after harvest. Aged for 18 months in slightly used barriques, followed by several months of bottle aging.

From the 2021 vintage which was very dry but moderately cool resulting in wines with great colour, concentration and acidity. A blend of 55% Merlot, 35% Syrah and 10% Sangiovese. The Promis is sourced from vineyards across Bolgheri and Bibbona with the majority in Bibbona on only dark soils rich in clay. The three varieties are fermented cool separately over 15 days. All varieties retain 15-20% whole bunch in the ferment and are then aged in a mixture of Tonneau and Barrique. The name Promis, derived from the Italian word for promise is in reference to the Gaja family’s commitment to bringing and producing world class wines from the region.

Delivery times are between 5-10 business days depending on your state. Due to the ongoing restrictions being placed in different states, delivery time frames can be affected and your patience in these cases would be appreciated.

Note that a signature is required to receive the parcel to all residential addresses and identification must be presented to receive the parcel to ensure the receiver is over the legal age.

We may not always be able to change delivery details depending on which stage the order processing is up to, but we will do our best to accommodate your request. Once the order has been sent, we will be unable to change anymore.

RETURN POLICY

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn, unused, unopened, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at contact@sessionsarden.com.au. If it's returned because of a change of mind, you will be liable to pay for the return postage costs. When the item returns back to our store, we will then issue a full refund. If you require us to organize the pickup, we will refund the full amount less the return postage cost.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
