Critic tasting note: "(2006) The blend for Grange this year is 99% Shiraz and only 1% Cabernet Sauvignon. Whether or not that 1% can have much influence on the character of this wine is a moot point, but Peter Gago says the quality of this Cabernet was so good that it earned its place in Grange. For the first time ever, this Grange is made from all Barossa fruit and spent 17 months in all new American hogsheads. Chocolate and spice dominate the nose, with a great, dark, plummy, brooding presence. There are hints of tobacco and pepper, but this is mostly about a weight of ripe, thick black fruit. On the palate there are flavours of plum and Agen prunes, with huge concentration. Tannins are svelte and dense, with a liquoricy quality and lots of gripping texture. The original and most powerful expression of Penfolds multi-vineyard, multi-district blending philosophy, Grange is arguably Australia’s most celebrated wine and is officially listed as a Heritage Icon of South Australia. Crafted utilising fully-ripe, intensely-flavoured and structured shiraz grapes, the result is a unique Australian style that is now recognised as one of the most consistent of the world’s great wines. With an unbroken line of vintages from the experimental 1951, Grange clearly demonstrates the synergy between shiraz and the soils and climates of South Australia. This release in 2021 commemorates the 70th anniversary since Grange was first made.

Delivery times are between 5-10 business days depending on your state. Due to the ongoing restrictions being placed in different states, delivery time frames can be affected and your patience in these cases would be appreciated.

Note that a signature is required to receive the parcel to all residential addresses and identification must be presented to receive the parcel to ensure the receiver is over the legal age.

We may not always be able to change delivery details depending on which stage the order processing is up to, but we will do our best to accommodate your request. Once the order has been sent, we will be unable to change anymore.

RETURN POLICY

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn, unused, unopened, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at contact@sessionsarden.com.au. If it's returned because of a change of mind, you will be liable to pay for the return postage costs. When the item returns back to our store, we will then issue a full refund. If you require us to organize the pickup, we will refund the full amount less the return postage cost.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
